In 2015, they changed the cup to a minimalist design of being solid red with no holiday symbols as a way of "welcoming all our stories." It was funny how this received backlash from the religious right in America as being part of the "war on Christmas."
I wasn't aware of this story, Marc - brilliant example. I find those pithy gestures towards "inclusivity" by corporations to be so pathetic it makes the backlash seem infantile.
